Don Creedon (Director)
Don is a playwright/director/actor who emigrated from Dublin in 1985 to New York , where he has lived ever since. Directing: Tuesday’s Child, The Lobby, Rinty, Moonshine, The Holy Ground (Best Director Nominee 1st Irish 2010 Theatre Festival). Don’s written plays include The Lobby, Celtic Tiger Me Arse, Celtic Tiger Wake, Blind Date (finalist Samuel French Short Play Festival), Ladies' Night (finalist American Globe Fifteen Minute Play Festival), Shackled, Dry Rot and Guy Walks into a Bar (winner of the Audience Award for Best Play at the 1st Irish 2010 Theatre Festival). Don is a Fellow of the Blue Mountain Center and the MacDowell Colony, and also a member of the Dramatist Guild of America.

Joan began her career as young teenager with the famed Kenley Players and has since worked extensively in all media. Theatre: Broadway and Off Broadway: The Inspector General, Suddenly, Last Summer, The Glass Managarie, A Taste of Home, Blues for Mr. Charlie. NY Musicals: Heaven Knows, Cut the Ribbons, Workshopping, Pride and Prejudice the Musical. TV: The Third Watch, Law & Order, Law & Order, CI, Ryan’s Hope. Film: On the Slope, The Sweet Life, The Front, Law and Disorder. Joan has also performed her one-woman cabaret show Feldman Sings in several top NY cabarets. She has worked in such regional theatres as Seattle Rep Syracuse Stage and Arkansas Rep. Joan is a member of The Actor’s Studio and was happily married for 23 years to fellow studio member, the late Owen Hollander.

Bill has written and performed comedy all over the world at clubs, colleges, cabarets, discos and delis. Bill also wrote and starred in two short films, Without A Leash and Everything 99 Cents and received rave reviews for his solo show, Christ Is The Answer, But What's The Question. As a member of Aching Dogs writers group Bill developed You'll Be Happy When I'm Dead along with three other plays entitled In Honor of Jack, Grief Relief and Big Ditch which was accepted in the New York City 15 Minute Play Festival. As an actor Bill recently starred in Guy Walks Into a Bar (winner of the Audience Award for Best Play 1st Irish Festival 2010). His TV and film work includes guest starring roles on Dharma and Greg, Arrested Development and Two and a Half Men and a role in the upcoming film Fred and Vinnie which will be released later this year.

Recent appearances include Marsha Norman's Getting Out at the Chelsea Rep. and Sonny Montoya, a film by Art Wallace. Mike also enjoyed working recently with director Ari Taub and fellow Aching Dogs players, Elizabeth Dilley and Magda Rogowski in the film Life on the Edge of Town. Mike has been in various commercials and enjoyed working on Law & Order SVU. Mike would like to thank Pamela Scott, Peter Ward, and the Union Trade Council for everything that makes this fun and possible.

Nina recently appeared as Mrs. Doot da Doot in The Mafiettes, the 2009 Winner of the NYIFF Best Comedy Drama Short and in Santorini Blue, an independent feature film. Other appearances include The Lady on the Elevator (currently showing at various film festivals) and 79 Parks, now filming, directed by Ari Taub. Nina would like to thank Local 6 for their generosity in sponsoring Aching Dogs Theatre and also extend much love and thanks to the playwright Bill Rutkoski, the director Don Creedon, and, of course, her fellow actors. Pamela Scott (Karen)
Pamela Scott has performed at many NYC theaters, including West Bank Theatre, Irish Arts Center and Joseph Papp's Public Theatre. She played Adrien Brody's Aunt in the film Ten Benny. Pamela is also a playwright and the Producing Artistic Director of Aching Dogs Theatre and Lunch: Live! She teaches and directs at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the T. Schreiber Studio. Being on stage again reminds her of just how brave and inspiring all her students are. Thanks to them and her lovely and generous cast and crew, including director Don Creedon.
